His Story

From a Call to a Lifetime of Ministry

Jeff Taylor didn't choose ministry — ministry chose him. From the moment God placed a call on his life, Jeff has pursued it with single-minded devotion: to declare and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every place and to every person God has opened a door.

With more than 40 years of full-time ministry behind him, Jeff's journey has taken him from churches all across America to crusade fields in East Africa, from pastor's conferences in Southeast Asia to revival meetings in Europe. Across 30+ nations and countless local churches, the message has never changed — the Gospel is the power of God, and it works.

Jeff is known for his ability to take the deep truths of Scripture and make them accessible, applicable, and alive. Whether he's teaching on healing, faith, prayer, or spiritual authority, his goal is always the same: to equip believers to walk in the fullness of what God has provided through Jesus Christ.

His international ministry has taken him to Uganda, Nepal, Tanzania, the Philippines (nine trips), India, Nigeria, Botswana, Thailand, Honduras, Spain, Italy, and many more nations. In each place, the focus has been on strengthening local pastors and leaders, seeing the lost come to Christ, and building the local church.

Jeff gave his heart to Jesus at the age of seven. By age ten, he had a vivid dream of himself ministering to a large crowd — a picture that would stay with him for a lifetime. The following year, a prophetic word confirmed what he already sensed in his spirit: God had a specific call on his life. At fourteen, he was filled with the Holy Spirit, and the direction of his future became clear. After high school, Jeff enrolled at Rhema Bible Training College, where he was profoundly shaped by the ministry of Kenneth E. Hagin. He graduated in 1986 and completed a year of internship in Bellflower, California before joining Nancy Harmon Ministries as an associate minister — stepping into the larger world of itinerant ministry, television appearances, and revival meetings that would define much of his life.

From 1996 to 2002, Jeff served as Senior Pastor of Church Alive, pouring himself into the local church with the same fire he'd carried since boyhood. In 2002, the Lord redirected him back into itinerant ministry and opened the door to short-term mission work that has since taken him to more than 30 nations. Today, Jeff and his wife Kellie make their home just outside Atlanta, Georgia. Kellie is an integral part of the ministry — serving alongside Jeff in music and social media. Together they have four children and six grandchildren.

Author & Teacher

Jeff's passion for equipping the body of Christ extends beyond the pulpit. His book Picking Up Sticks — endorsed by Joni Lamb, co-founder of Daystar Television — addresses one of the most prevalent challenges in the modern church: believers who have been wounded and withdrawn from service. Using the Apostle Paul's experience on Malta as a lens, Jeff shows how what was meant for our destruction can become a wellspring of healing for others.

His library of 19 teaching series covers topics ranging from healing and spiritual authority to prayer, faith, identity, covenant, and revival — tools designed not just to inform, but to transform.

Taylor Ministries exists as the vehicle through which Jeff's calling finds its fullest expression — through teaching resources, international missions, partnership with local churches, and a commitment to seeing the next generation equipped and released. The work continues to grow, with new resources in development and ongoing mission initiatives around the world.
